And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Think for a moment, how long does it take for a farmer to grow his crops. He does not go out the next day after planting and immediately dig up the seeds because they are not growing. Nevertheless, how many times do we give up on good things because we are not seeing an immediate result.
How many times have we given up diets or workout plans because we were not seeing the results right away? With our fast food restaurants, microwavable popcorn, and even movies on demand, we want immediate gratification.
We want to see an immediate harvest for what ever we are doing, but that is not how life works. It takes time for the seeds that we plant to grow. So don’t grow weary when doing good, but when the time is right we will reap a harvest.
