Fallow Ground

Break up the fallow ground
Hosea 10:12

The Prophet spoke to the very hard hearted people who lived in the area of Israel. They had turned their hearts away from God. They sought after wealth and looked for ways to heap up God’s blessings upon them selves and not passing on the blessings of God to others. The prophet said, “Break up the fallow ground.”
Fallow ground refers to hard ground that has never been plowed. Hosea says, “Plow the hardened ground that is in your heart,” so that the seed of God can effectively take root.

Do you have ares that are not plowed in your heart?
